Ir. Budijanto Widjaja, Ph.D., IPU.
Ir. Budijanto Widjaja, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at Parahyangan Catholic University, Indonesia. He finished his Ph.D. in 2013 at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, with research focused on landslides, especially mudflow. His expertise includes landslide and its countermeasures, numerical analysis, mudflow, geosynthetic, soil improvement, soil dynamic, rock mechanic, and soil behavior.
Dr. Budi is the founder and director of C4GH (Center for Geo-Hazard) research group that dedicated to geological disaster especially in Indonesia. Dr. Budi also the dean of Faculty of Engineering (2023-2028), and head of Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory (2021-now) in Parahyangan Catholic University. The other position that Dr. Budi held is the president of INA-IGS (International Geosynthetic Society Chapter Indonesia) from 2020 until now.
