The Civil Engineering Program at Parahyangan Catholic University has five Scientific Field Communities (KBI), which consist of faculty members with expertise in specific areas of study. According to Prof. Paulus Pramono Rahardjo (2008), each KBI comprises peers who collaboratively nurture and advance their field through education, research, and community service. The five areas are as follows:
- KBI Structural Engineering
- KBI Geotechnical Engineering
- KBI Water Resources Engineering
- KBI Transportation Engineering
- KBI Construction Project Management
Each KBI has its own curriculum matrix, which is independent yet interconnected with the others. The course sequences can be reviewed in the Academic Implementation Guidelines document.
