Abstract : Liquefaction, which is the loss of shear strength of saturated sandy soil, has become one of the primary concern for Indonesia and the world, especially after the occurrence of liquefaction in Palu due to Palu-Donggala earthquake. Learning from the liquefaction phenomena after the Palu-Donggala earthquake event on 28 September 2018, many researchers have conducted liquefaction and flow slide study such as study on liquefaction potential using piezocone (CPTu), study on the liquefaction mechanism by making trenches in liquefaction area, study on flow slide mechanism, study on flow slide modelling, back analysis study on rheology parameters during flow slide, etc.
In order to complete the study of liquefaction phenomenon, experimental study using shake table test dan CPTu is conducted to do an evaluation of behavior and viscosity of silty sand material in liquefied condition.
