Profile
Dr. Wibowo is a Senior Lecturer in Construction Management at the Faculty of Engineering, Parahyangan Catholic University. He is also a Research Fellow at the Indonesia Infrastructure Guarantee Fund (IIGF) Institute. He formerly held the positions of Secretary of the National Agency for Promoting Water Supply Systems (BPPSPAM) and Research Professor at the Agency for Research and Development, Ministry of Public Works, Indonesia.
Dr. Wibowo is currently an Associate Editor of Built Environment Project and Asset Management. He has authored and co-authored more than 150 journal articles and conference papers and has contributed extensively to the peer-review process for more than 70 reputable international journals. He obtained his Habilitation (German higher doctorate) from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in 2016, his doctoral degree from Technische Universität Berlin in 2005, and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Institute of Technology Bandung in 1995 and 1998, respectively, all in civil engineering.
He has received a number of prestigious scholarships and awards, including the Alexander von Humboldt Re-invitation Fellowship (2018), the Emerald Literati Award (2016), the Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers (2011–2014), the DAAD Re-invitation Scholarship (2009), the Australia-Indonesia Governance Research Partnership (2007), the DAAD Doctoral Scholarship (2001–2005), the URGE World Bank Scholarship (1996–1998), and best paper awards at several conferences.
